SZEKUL FOREST PARK carries the name of an old minning settlement "Szekul", relocated once the area was flooded in order to create Secu lake. Situated at only 15 km away from the city of Resita, Szekul Forest Park, represents a glimpse of the protected natural reserve that surrounds the Semenic mountains, a camping area at the shores of Secu lake that offers sunbathing relaxation, boat rides and recreational sport activities.
